A Modern Miracle

Christians in Croatia know the powerful result of prayer.  When God doesn't answer immediately when we pray, we have a tendency to give up.  But continual prayer and seeking God brought miraculous results to the Croatians.

One young boy, Robert Marisak, believed that God was speaking to him about future events and revealing to him that he could influence the future through prayer----10 to 15 years before the war.

His family moved to Zarab, a city of a million people.  He met other children who shared with him their understanding of spiritual things.  They laid hands on each other and prayed in other tongues by the Holy Spirit.  He began to bind demons and loose angels.  He joined an independent Pentecostal Church in Zarab. 





When he was 18, he prophesied that war would break out.  He said God spoke to him of what happened in World War I and said, "it will be repeated if my people don't pray."

When war came to Croatia in 1991, he saw the results of years of prayer.  Zarab, the city he had prayed for, was spared while another city fell to the Serbian Army.  The war stopped 20 miles short of the city of Zarab -- God had answered prayer.

He believes that the war was brief in Slovenia because Christians were obedient in prayer.  Young people went to the Catholic priest and said "the Lord told us to pray."  The result of their prayers is that Slovenians did not have war and they have a better economy than other republics.

He said that God spoke to him in 1995. at the time of the bombing in Oklahoma City, that war would erupt in the United States -- not from without, but from within.  Let us pray that God will send a revival to America and pray that we will never know the horror of war in our nation.
